Founder & Lead Reviewer — InfluencerAI
I run a lean consulting business with a 2-person team. We manage multiple social media channels, produce content daily, and regularly outperform marketing departments ten times our size. That's only possible because I've been obsessive about AI tools for the past decade — testing, breaking, and actually deploying them in real workflows, not just writing about them.
I built InfluencerAI because I got tired of tool review sites written by people who'd watched a YouTube demo and called it "testing." When I review a tool here, I've run real content through it. I've hit the limits, found the workarounds, and formed an opinion I'd defend in a conversation with another creator — not just fill a content brief.
My background is in consulting and business automation. I was using GPT-2 for content experiments before most people knew what a large language model was. I've watched every major AI content tool launch, and I've built enough workflows to know the difference between a tool that's genuinely useful and one that's impressive in a demo and useless at 3am on a deadline.
My review policy: I don't accept payment for review scores. I don't let tools sponsor their own reviews. When something sucks, I say it sucks. When something changed my workflow, I say that too. Some of the tools on this site have affiliate programs — those are disclosed clearly on every review page. The scores are mine, not theirs.
I sign up like any creator would. No press account, no guided demo. If a tool requires a sales call to access, that's already a mark against the creator experience and I say so.
I'm not generating lorem ipsum. Real scripts, real video clips, real social copy for actual channels. If the output would embarrass me to publish, that goes into the review. If it's genuinely better than what I'd produce manually, that goes in too.
Long videos. Accented speech. Unusual content formats. Slow internet. Mobile app. The scenarios most demos skip on purpose because that's where the cracks are.
Every tool review on this site has pricing I verified directly — not from a press release. Pricing changes. I include a "last verified" date on every review and update when tools change their tiers.
A tool isn't good or bad in isolation. It's good or bad relative to what you'd use instead. I always test with the top 2-3 alternatives in the same category so the comparison section is a real comparison, not padding.
These are the tool reviews I've personally written and tested. Every score is mine.
